Question by Fairtex: Is the course “Multimedia and Graphic design” good if i want to get into the “art” side of Game development?
Aside from the mathematical and programming aspect, i want to do the art. 3d modeling, animation, simulation, create characters, environments, weapons, etc…

Both, basic and advanced graphic design theory and application is a prerequisite to designing original gaming software. (Unless you just want to develop games like….Pong.)

Well unless you are planning to do print, advertising, electronic media, or web developing in the graphic design field. Game design is a totally different field. Unless you are taking Graphic Design for your first 2 years and then move up to game design as your BS degree. However a game designer consists of developing game tables, story boards, screen writing or “creating” a story. It can be quit challenging. You have to have a strong knowledge on 3D design and mathematics.
